New Houses Center at Bahia Tiki!

There’s a new House Center at Bahia Tiki, making it easier for you to browse and visit all the houses in our collection! You can get information about the building and even get a footprint to take back to your place and test! You can also use the redelivery terminal for another copy of your Bahia Tiki House. Come check it out and enjoy the beach!

Bahia Tiki’s Group Christmas gift this year is a small little rustic cabin where you can enjoy a nice fire in the company of your friends! Inside, you have a rug with two animated cushions, a shelf full of Bahia Tiki goodies ( find the hidden present in the shelf ) and, well, a roof over your head to protect you from the snow storms!


Make sure to wear your Group tag to click the poster and if you are not yet in our Group, ask for an invitation on the poster above the gift! The hut will be available until the end of the Holidays

Christmas Wonderland in SL

Serenah Raynier ( expert builder and sim designer)  just finished this wonderful Paradise Garden Farm Winter SR project, which is now available to everyone!
It is a whole sim ( Full Region / Homestead) of 1861 prims, wonderfully set for Winter and Christmas, full of lovely details, all complete with roads, vegetation, snow, fences, buildings and a Bahia Tiki House, cozy and warm with fireplace, ideal for the Winter. The house used in this project was the base for the next home to be released next week at Bahia Tiki, Aruba House.

There will also be a Spring / Summer version of the project, so you can enjoy the Sim all year long! Great work, Serenah!

Happy 6th Anniversary, Bahia Tiki!

It’s Bahia Tiki’s 6th Anniversary in Second Life, and to celebrate that, I made a present for all Group members
It’s a little coffee cabinet that displays the store’s landmarks to the furniture and beach areas,  its presence online ( Flickr, YouTube, Pinterest, 2nhHub, Facebook , Twitter and this Blog) as well as a catalog with the 2012 House collection.

Bahia Tiki’s Tortuga House featured

Nikki (nik.arlington) contacted me recently to tell me Bahia Tiki’s Tortuga House and its contents had been featured in one of her creations ( Sketched Episode 1). According to Nik, “Sketched filth is a new revolutionary form of Machinima, a unique look that has never been explored in SL films to date.” Take a look at Nik's Blog for more detail about her work;
We can see that Nik really has a director’s touch, the editing is fun, the filter used is amazing, lots of attention to detail  and Tortuga House looks great!

Sometimes, the fun part of having a home in Second Life is to be able to find curious and original objects around the grid, things we love as much as our real life favorite objects, and place them to our liking making our place unique and personal (with the blessing of our plot’s prim count );
Bahia Furniture Store has a new section for those decor items,as well as potted plants, full perm textures and lamps. More things will be added soon, and in the meantime, take a look at the new décor area!

Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, may it be spent in the company of your loved ones and friends, with lots of xmas cookies, presents, health and hope for an amazing year that is almost here! ( and not necessarily by that order, eheh)
I usually build a little gift for all Bahia Tiki group members every year, as a way to say thank you for everything and tell you how special you all are

Vacation Time!

I’ll be travelling for  2 weeks, so you won’t find me inworld!

Oh I’m wearing a Parabellum spear!

I just couldn’t resist a little Summer welcoming dance in SL after I found this wonderful Mudanchee Outfit from Parabellum by the talented Ilyushin Tzedek. That girl knows how to work prims, no wonder I recommend her every time my customers need help with some changes in their houses; So if you call me to your place for help and I show up wearing a spear, fear not, it’s just to kill tropical mosquitos!
The savage look is perfect to roam the beaches of Bahia Tiki, enjoying the tropical water, sand & sun!
It Includes the anklets, the spear, bracelets, top and bottom, all prim work, all adjustable. Looks good! So detailed and flattering to an avatar’s body! Made her promise to make more tropical-like outfits for us Bahia Tiki crowd, so keep posted at Parabellum’s Blog ( Rss feed here ).

2ndhub is a new service for SL™ users that comes in the form of a website as well as web-enabled in-world tools all designed to enhance your Second Life© world experience!
Very similar to Facebook, but Second Life oriented, I was happy to see that many residents have chosen this social network to reconnect with their SL friends, so it felt just like home!
